Circular dichroism responses at 581 nm (a) and 480 nm (b) for the reaction of Δ-[Co(gly)(ox)2]2- with excess [Co(4,7-Me2(phen)3]2+. Trace (a) is normalized to show the component of the oxidant decay in (b), while (b) shows the formation of transiently optically activeΔ-[Co(4,7-Me 2(phen)3]3+ followed by its subsequent decay by electron self-exchange.
